Leicester Remedials and Sewing (LRS) are one of the most technically competent footwear remedial companies in the UK. The management team have a long history of footwear manufacture across the full range of manufacturing techniques, and moved into remedial following the demise of the UK manufacturing industry.
There is no challenge that we cannot meet that is commercially viable to undertake, from repairing uppers to sole-laying to top spraying. We have much of the equipment to deal with most of the day-to-day issues that occur, but if a machine is needed that we don't have to do a job, from our wealth of contacts in the industry, we can usually acquire it within a few days.
All 50 of our employees have a footwear background from component manufacture and upper closing to shoe and boot manufacturing. This puts us in a unique position to offer professional technical advice and know that when we carry out a job it's being taken care of by experts.
